Value for Ghostbusters fans
For a true Ghostbusters fan, this figure has high value, both emotional and collectible:
- Iconic and rare: Recreates one of the most memorable moments from the film (Stay Puft catching fire and melting). Being limited to only 1,500 pieces, it’s much rarer than standard Funko Pops and represents one of the premium pieces from the 2014 Hikari Sofubi line.
- Premium quality: High-quality soft vinyl material, above-average sculptural details, and highly realistic “toasted” finishes. Many fans consider it one of the best 3D versions of Stay Puft ever produced.
- Collectibility: It’s a sought-after piece among old-school franchise collectors. If the box is in excellent condition and especially if the sequential number is low (e.g., under 300-400), the value on the secondary market increases significantly.
